旋挖钻机依据其主要作业参数：扭矩、发动机功率、钻孔直径、钻孔深度及钻机整机质量的不同分为三种类型。小型机适用于钻孔直径0.5～1m，钻孔深度40m左右的桩基。中型机适用于钻孔直径0.8～1.8m，钻孔深度60m左右的桩基，大型机适用于钻孔直径1～3m，钻孔深度105m的桩基。
