沙特拉比格炼化开启扩能后的乙烷裂解装置

　　友化学的合资公司拉比格炼化公司周四宣布公司位于沙特拉比格的扩能后的乙烷裂解装置已经于4月19日开始投产。此前沙特向该合资企业新增3000万标立方英尺/天的天然气供应配额，从而令该装置的乙烷处理能力从9500万标立方英尺/天提高至1.25亿标立方英尺/天。乙烯产能从130万吨/年提高至160万吨/年。

　　拉比格炼化公司表示，裂解装置的扩能将导致公司在2016年的营业收入提高大约7.5亿沙特里亚尔（2亿美元）。

Petro Rabigh starts up expanded ethane cracker

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh), a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, on Thursday announced that operations commenced on 19 April at the company’s expanded ethane cracker at Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. This follows the allocation of extra 30 million standard cubic feet/day of ethane to the joint venture, lifting the total ethane processing capacity from 95 million to 125 million standard cubic feet/day. The ethylene capacity has increased from 1.3 million m.t./year to 1.6 million m.t./year.

Petro Rabigh says that the expanded cracker will lead to an increase in the company’s revenues by approximately 750 million Saudi riyals ($200 million) in 2016.
