拉比格炼化公司完成乙烷裂解装置扩能

据悉，沙特阿美和日本住友化学的合资公司拉比格炼化公司周三表示，公司位于拉比格的乙烷裂解装置扩能项目已经实现机械完成。该装置的乙烯产能将从130万吨/年提高至160万吨/年。扩能后该装置的日均乙烷原料处理能力将增加3000万标立方英尺升至1.25亿标立方英尺。

拉比格炼化公司在获得新增天然气供应后就将开启扩能后的生产设施。拉比格炼化公司称，扩能后的乙烷裂解装置满负荷投产后将令2016年公司的销售收入增加7.5亿沙特雷亚尔（2亿美元）。

Petro Rabigh completes ethane cracker expansion

Petro Rabigh (Rabigh, Saudi Arabia), a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, said on Wednesday that it has mechanically completed its ethane cracker expansion at Rabigh. The capacity of the plant has raised from 1.3 million m.t./year to 1.6 million m.t./year of ethylene. It increases the cracker’s processing capacity by an additional 30 million standard cubic feet/day of ethane, to 125 million standard cu ft/day.

Petro Rabigh will start production at the expanded facility when it receives the extra supplies of gas. The financial impact of full operation of the expanded ethane cracker unit will increase the company’s sales revenue by an estimated 750 million Saudi riyals ($200.0 million) in 2016, the company says.
